Project Overview
This is a project for a customer we carried out in Broxbourne. It wasn’t a full garden landscape as although the garden looked tired and needed a few things changing, there was no need to go to the massive expense of ripping everything out and starting again as it was essentially a fairly decent garden.
Repointing the Paving
The customer wanted all the brickwork repointing, any loose slabs relayed, and then the paving repointed. As well as this we also restructured the steps slightly. We couldn’t do anything about the heights without rebuilding the steps, so instead we bullnosed the edges and made the corners less sharp.
Pergola and Hot Tub
We installed a concrete base for a hot tub and then got the hot tub installed and wired up. We also installed a pergola because the customer wanted some covering over the main paving area for dining.
Flower Beds and Lighting
We rebuilt sleeper flower beds along the bottom of the garden. And then we replaced or fixed all of the lighting in the garden which had over time stopped working.
Instead of re-wiring which would have meant ripping up the whole patio, we installed some solar lighting, which has worked very well for a fraction of the cost.
