Project Overview
This recent project saw our team at Heath Landscapes perform a stunning garden transformation in St Albans. This was a complete garden renovation, demonstrating our team’s versatility and commitment to quality workmanship.
At Heath Landscapes, we work closely with our clients to ensure we can surpass all expectations and deliver results that meet all requirements. For this project, our clients requested a complete overhaul of their existing landscape, creating a more accessible, modern space for the whole family to enjoy.
Stunning Porcelain Paving
The main bulk of the work on this garden transformation in St Albans was the porcelain paving. We specifically chose Vitro Piazza to create a beautiful, durable surface for our clients that compliments the rest of the landscape.
Our design was complimented with small steps that transitioned from the porcelain patio to the newly levelled lawn, creating a seamless appearance to the overall garden.
Seating and Utility Areas
To enhance the functionality of the new garden space, our designers transformed the back-right area of the landscape into a cosy patio space. Our clients envisioned a seating area, suitable for relaxing and unwinding while enjoying the new garden design, and we developed the frame for this.
The raised planters surrounding this space flawlessly blend with the backdrop and enhance the view from the seating area, creating a truly tranquil spot that our clients can enjoy for years to come.
The key to a functional garden design is designated zones and this project had not only the new seating area but a utility area with striking Derbyshire stone paving. This natural stone pavement provides a neat and systematic space for a bin store, providing a functional zone to the garden without interrupting the aesthetic appeal.
Barbeque Area
The back left of this garden transformation in St Albans was marked for a barbeque area, allowing our clients to enjoy many evenings in the sun, entertaining and cooking for loved ones.
To complement the space, our designers integrated a couple of raised beds which were left empty for our clients to fill up their favourite plants and flowers. These enhance the overall layout, adding an organic touch to the space and allowing for additional colour and textures based on our client’s tastes.
